I don’t think that anybody has been as creative with their tool bar as EZGIF and they really have a strong base to build from. We did find some functionality issues in the advanced options, but all of the basic tools work like a charm. There are troubleshooting resources, so it’s clear this app is a work-in-progress. We’re looking forward to more consistency as this app gets developed and they fix some of the problems with their tools.

Image Flip is very strong, with a consistent user experience and many pre-made GIF formats. They have taken the liberty of designing the most used layouts for GIFs, so the app is easy to use. The website also includes commonly used images for memes and GIFs. This holds many capabilities for you to tap into without having to put in much effort or thought, while still having a strong effect on the quality of your GIF. Image Flip is limited in tool offerings, but we found no glitches or major areas for concern with the website. It is a great application if you are looking for a simplistic design with a small amount of details you wish to add to your GIF.
